Kevin Curran of mash: restaurant wows spectators at the “Taste of Dublin” festival.


Kevin Curran, Executive Head Chef at mash: restaurant wowed spectators with his culinary delights at the 2009 “Taste of Dublin” festival in the Iveagh Gardens. Kevin joined a host of celebrity chefs to showcase his delectable fusion cuisine which he creates in his award winning restaurant, mash: at the Osprey in Naas, Co. Kildare.
Also demonstrating on the day were, Kevin Dundon of Dunbrody Manor House Hotel and Derry Clarke of L’Ecrivain. Kevin cooked up a storm for onlookers during his demonstration.
Creating amazing dishes including ;
Loch Duart gravaldax of salmon, crème fraiche, chives and lemon
Pan fried fillet of wild American stripped Seabass, sautéed plantain, stir fry Bok Choy and mild curry velouté
Spectators watched in awe as the favourite dish on the day was sampled,
“Roast rack of organic Connemara lamb, boulangere potatoes and rillette of shoulder au jus”.
Sampling the seabass one member of the audience commented “ I simply relished each morsel - delicious!“
Receiving a standing ovation, it was apparent that spectators only wanted more.
